THE FAMILY BEHIND LECRUZ
I’m Caprice, the breeder behind Lecruz Bengals. As a mother of three and a qualified biologist, I’ve built our breeding program around family, science and a genuine love of the Bengal breed. My scientific background has given me a strong understanding of feline health and genetics, helping me make thoughtful breeding decisions with the wellbeing of every cat at the centre.
Our kittens are raised within our family home and are surrounded by everyday life from birth. They receive plenty of affection, handling and opportunities to build their confidence, helping them grow into loving, playful and well-adjusted companions.
At Lecruz, our breeding cats are carefully selected for health, temperament and beautiful breed type. Our adults undergo genetic testing, and every litter receives attentive care throughout each stage of development. Im proud to raise exceptional Bengals and to provide ongoing guidance and support to their families long after they leave my home.

Why Bengals?
My fascination with Bengals began while completing my undergraduate studies in science. That interest eventually grew into Lecruz Bengals and a breeding program dedicated to producing beautiful, healthy and well-tempered felines.

My background has shaped the way I approach my breeding program. I have a particular interest in genetics and how different genes influence coat colour, pattern, health and other inherited characteristics. This knowledge allows me to interpret genetic testing, study pedigrees and plan each pairing with a clear purpose. My decisions extend beyond producing beautiful kittens. I carefully consider genetic diversity, temperament, physical development and the long-term health of our bloodlines. By combining scientific knowledge with years of hands-on experience, my aim is to raise Bengals that are healthy, confident and true to the distinctive qualities of the breed.

ABOUT OUR CATTERY
Lecruz Bengals is an award-winning Bengal cattery located in South Western Sydney, Australia. We are a fully registered Bengal cattery with kittens available throughout the year. We specialise in breeding high-quality Bengals in a range of colours, including brown, snow, silver, melanistic and charcoal.
HEALTH AND RESPONSIBLE BREEDING
Our focus is on health, temperament and type, with our cats raised in a loving family environment and socialised with children from a young age. The health of our Bengals is a priority. We complete DNA testing and regular veterinary checks to monitor and maintain their wellbeing. Our cattery is PKDef and PRA-b negative, and our cats are fed a balanced raw food diet for optimal health and appearance.

How do I reserve a kitten?
To reserve a kitten, you can fill out the contact form on our website or reach out to us directly. A deposit is required to secure your reservation.
How big do they get?
Bengals are medium to large-sized cats. Males typically weigh between 4.5–7 kg, while females are slightly smaller, averaging 3.5–5.5 kg.
At what age will my kitten be ready to come home?
Kittens are ready to go to their new homes at 12–14 weeks of age, after they have been weaned, vaccinated, desexed and socialised.
Are Bengals good for first-time cat owners?
They can be a good choice for first-time owners who are prepared for their high energy levels and need for interaction. If you’re looking for an active, engaging cat, they’re a fantastic option.
Can I choose my kitten’s name?
Yes, you can choose your kitten’s name.
However, the registered pedigree and microchipping name will follow our cattery’s naming convention.
